History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This late middle aged man has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe and is in decent physical shape. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's attracted to the pc

Description: She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her dark red hair is lengthy. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a Body Guard first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Mastema lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has worked as a Body Guard like her father before her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. Her orange fur is long and unkept. Her eyes are likewise amber. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Aura was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
