History: She was born in the east. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He stands about 5'3" and wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is cut close to his head. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chem alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Chem was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He takes great joy in being the best Map Maker in town.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
