History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Sun learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now owns his own business.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.
