Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Nirgel enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Nirgel hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nutae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult
