History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Aldous was taken on many hunting expeditions. Personality: She is a Guard first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Callie was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Callie decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

History: Thorpe hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Nija was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nija's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
