Description: A middle-aged man, he wears dull black sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed halberd, just in case, and is pretty ugly. His brass crest is heavily combed to the right. He has red eyes and a black hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He bought a halberd and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Nalaed lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He is lean but muscular and is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Rurik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
