History: Mastema lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second son.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age her father died while driving off some drow. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in morningstar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and revenge
