History: He was born in a small forest village. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and retire the richest woman in the north
