Description: This man stands a little under 2'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by goblins. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 89. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Born in the west to a Priest, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: She wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length red hair. Her green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ulla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.
