History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'10". She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her silver hair is knotted and matted. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Puyet abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants to get laid; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: Standing 4'1", this man wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His brown hair is singed and shortened. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Oskar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oskar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears a blue coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon her head. Her silver hair is well kept. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
