History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Howard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is his passion; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
