History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Don and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: Standing 5'4", this man is wearing a long, pastel cloak. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his broad pastel hat.

Personality: Right-Handed speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
