History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
