Description: This northern man dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks. His clothes are grease stained in places. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Darrow lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
