History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
