Description: An older woman who wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a morningstar on her belt, she is not a threatening figure. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears tattered old clothes. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When Alexandre reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is an amazing painter.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nykkan studied abroad. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
