In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Buvvie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
