History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: Ronwe was born with her father's beautiful face. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Ronwe and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's in love
