History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sarai grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor mother left him crippled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Flame and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest woman in the south
