Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Tomph enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Tomph hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Elysande liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
