Description: He is lean but muscular and wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oren embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and doesn't want to be a gardener and was forced into it by his family

Description: This light-skinned male prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His tied-back hair is golden. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and money/treasure

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He prefers to wear flannel. His auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Voice: High pitched and raspy

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she prefers to wear blue clothing when she does not wear armor. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the south to a Stableman, Shamil learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she seems to be bored by most things
