History: Born in the south to a Merchant, Halander learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is content

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Astaro abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
