Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Carlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Amnon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has achieved small success as a Priest.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has money and likes to spend it
