History: Xappan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Xappan's homeland. Xappan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Sculptor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
