History: Alain was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by her family
