History: Shadow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shadow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shadow. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. Her tied-back hair is brown. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
