History: Euphemia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Euphemia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Euphemia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Euphemia and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Nedda's homeland. Nedda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
