History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Merla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'8". He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His yellow fur is braided into rings. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pelt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cook. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lance was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
