History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Halander was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Halander's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. She has wavy auburn hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her first spouse was a Scribe, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Farmer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
