History: Gifted from a young age, Oriel studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 3'0" and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to protect his home

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She bought a morningstar and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
