Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
