Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses like a well dressed Shoemaker does. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Adran is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a morningstar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Mary and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This woman is typically in her Carter uniform. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her right hand. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Carter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Numba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is unsatisfied with her job
