History: Phann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Phann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Patrin will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the west. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and money/treasure

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
