History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a Gardener first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult
