Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Performer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it, and carries kukris. With bright auburn hair. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is a Soapmaker first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Soapmaker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and carries morningstars. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
