History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Gomory learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Tomi lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
