He found a children's book about a Gnome Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Wrenn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
