Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Fortune-teller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Simon alone in the world.
