Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he is typically in his Cook uniform. His fur is gray and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Painter. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job
