He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balam is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Euphemia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
