History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vola was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Vola took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor she uses now. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Vola never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Tod isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
