History: She was born into a rich family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. During her travels, Mella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Beggar, and she later adopted a second daughter.
