Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, brown shirt, and grey tie. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She struck the Stableman job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Sweet's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born in the east. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling silver eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
