His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oppleby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Armorer and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
