The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

History: Rendar was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the south. Adelaide was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Herbalist. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barkeep. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
