Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Halimath's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Halimath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's in love

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sage but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Stylist, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
