History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Quick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. A true patriot, Farideh would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Farideh never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
