She found a children's book about a Elf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
