History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Ethereal was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mercenary. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult
