History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge.
